The Club Email Lists

Soc-Rowing-Trinity

Almost all members of 1st and 3rd are on the club's official mailing list. It is used to pass information around the club, mostly of a sensible nature, eg. meeting times, notes about boat use and the like. However the conversation threads can at times move off into distant worlds previously only inhabited by Brad.

Emails to the list can only be sent by people on the list unless previously authorised. The email address is soc-rowing-trinity@lists.cam.ac.uk.

Spam and emails that are not of (rowing related) interest to the club as a whole are strongly discouraged and persistent offenders will be removed from the list. Members are encouraged to set up mailing list groups for other debate or use by crews.

Getting on to the list

If you are a member or former member of the club that wishes to be on the email list then contact the request list (soc-rowing-trinity-request@lists.cam.ac.uk) and ask nicely.

Removing yourself from the list

If you no longer wish to be on the list, email soc-rowing-trinity-request@lists.cam.ac.uk with a blank message, subject "unsubscribe". Note that this is not the normal list address. There is an extra -request bit!

If that simple procedure is just too complicated for you then contact me and I might do it for you.

An alternative mailing list for off-topic banter

A wider range of discussion takes place on the club's social mailing list, justice@firstandthird.org - the mailing list of The Justice. If you want to keep abreast of current off-topic banter then go to the groups page and sign up.
