The job of Secretary isn't rocket science, but appears to require someone who

• is committed to the boat club
• has time on their hands
• is organised

Now I'm no rocket scientist, but I believe that I

• am committed to the boat club
• will have time on my hands
• am fairly organised

I think it could really work.
