Charles Franklin- Running for Junior Treasurer

Who I am:
I am a second year mathematician and an enthusiastic rower. I have successfully trialled for boats as high as M5, and have held the glorious 5th lent VIII headship for 2 successive years. My crew even managed to bump a couple of boats this time around!

What I will do as Junior Treasurer:

  • Keep the Lard cupboard well stocked at all times (and extra-well stocked during Bumps!)
  • Make sure the Lard selection is in tune with what club members want- if enough people ask for it, I'll get it in.
  • Run the photos efficiently, so everyone gets a chance to see them and buy them with minimum hassle.
  • Help the KSS and Secretary with running FaT events.
  • Get a working clock for the boathouse!

Why you should vote for me:

  • I'm keen and reliable (never missed an early!)
  • I'm a pretty bad rower, so I'll never be too busy with outings to do the job.
  • I'm a mathematician, so I can count and run spreadsheets without too much trouble.
  • I noviced in a higher boat than Will Laffan.

Voting for me is recommended by these two excellent people:

Proposer: Adam Blacklay (current JT and former 5th VIII headship holder)

Seconder: Will Laffan (current MLBC, head of the Lents and former rower for NM3)
