Alumni
Information for Former Members
As well as a thriving group of current rowers, First and
Third has a large and active group of former members, many of
whom remain involved in the club and take a great interest in
the club’s fortunes. We encourage anybody who rowed or coxed at
First and Third to stay in touch, and help keep our club great.
There are a number of ways to stay involved - click the links to find out more:
The First and Third Association is open to all former First and
Third rowers and coxes and exists to provide social opportunities for
its members, as well as moral and financial support to First and Third.
Events include a biennial dinner in the Old Kitchens and a regular meeting
on the first Tuesday of each month in London.
Black Prince is the active rowing section of the First and Third Association,
allowing former members to continue rowing in a social capacity.
Coaching
As the largest club on the river, keeping First and Third in tip-top
condition requires a significant coaching effort. Alumni provide an
excellent wealth of experience and information, and the Captain is
always happy to hear from volunteering former members.
