The First and Third Association

As well as a thriving group of current rowers, First and Third has a large and active group of former members, many of whom remain involved in the club and take a great interest in the club’s fortunes.

The First and Third Association has existed for many years, as a way for all former members of First and Third to stay in touch with the boat club, and provide moral and financial support. A small subscription from each Association member allows the Association to inject much-needed funds into First and Third where necessary.

Members of the Association meet on the First Tuesday of every month in London and on the Last Thursday of every month in Cambridge. Under the banner of Black Prince Boat Club, some members even row occasionally! The highlight of the social calendar is a biennial black tie dinner at Trinity.
