Rowing is huge in Cambridge: the May Bumps is thought to be the biggest annual student participation sporting event in the country. The facilities at Trinity are some of the best of any Cambridge college and nearly half of all Trinity students learn to row during their time here. Most rowing is done in eights but every student has the opportunity to row in smaller boats and to learn to scull.

If you would like to find out more about rowing at Trinity, please feel free to browse the website and check out our Guide to Rowing. First and Third will be recruiting at the Chaplains' Squash on Sunday 5th and at our legendary (and totally free) Boatie Cocktails the next evening. You can also check out the answers to our Novice Frequently Asked Questions.
If you miss us in Freshers' Week but are keen to give rowing a try, or if you have any questions about the sport or the club, get in touch with the Lower Boats’ Captains by emailing freshers@firstandthird.org – or look out for blue and gold stash in the college bar, someone will be able to point you in the right direction.
Happy rowing!
