Introduction:
The aim of this guide is to provide a source of information for coxes in the Club. Most of the guide is pertinent to coxing in general though some sections are tailored towards coxing on the Cam. It is designed for novice coxes in order to give them some familiarity with the sport but will hopefully be of use to senior coxes as well.
Before reading this guide it is important to familiarise yourself with the basics of the sport in our brief introduction, in which the different types of boats are described, together with the most basic terminology related to rowing. Also useful in this respect is the 'Jargon' section.
