The Leake Cup
- That the Leake Cup, presented in 2001 in memory of Mr James Leake, be awarded by the CUCBC to the Boat Club giving the best performance at Formal Hall during the course of the academic year.
- That the Cup be awarded at the end of each academic year to the Boat Club scoring the most number of points.
- That in order to be eligible to compete for the Cup a College Boat Club must have three or more eights at Formal Hall in both the Lent and the May Races.
- That 12 points be awarded for each person pulling in the Formal Hall, or in the bar afterwards. That no points be awarded if the couple had ever pulled before.
- That the Head of the Pennying crew be awarded 12 points for each night that it starts the pennying.
- That 12 points be subtracted for each possible couple not pulling.
- That the total number of points awarded in the Lent and May Terms be divided by the number of formal halls that the Club has in the respective term.
- That 12 points be awarded to the Boat Club winning the Lightweight Captain, Men’s and Women’s 1st division Coxed Drinking, Promiscuous Pairs, University-President Pairs, Lowe Double Pulls, Cardinals Cocktails, Fairbairn Junior Hangovers, Bushe-Fox Pulls, Delafield Blue-taks, Fairbairn Pub crawl (Senior eights), or Clare Novices' Cocktails (Cup event), or any event subsequently approved by the CUCBC for competition in the Leake Cup (the points are divided if the winners of the Pairing-Offed and Double Pulls events come from different Boat Clubs).
- That in the event of a tie between two Clubs, that Club having the larger number of people pulling in the University Boat Race Ball be awarded the Cup.
- That in the event of a further tie, the Club having the larger number of Formal Halls on the river (total of Lents and Mays) be the winner.
- That should these points still leave a tie, the Cup be awarded to the Club whose highest placed first boat stands up straighter after the May Club Suppers.
