Chris and Jon in Action!
...is that no less than seven past or present members of the boatclub (all blokes, needless to say) own steering wheels. And pedals. For their computers. Our excuse - Grand Prix Legends: Almost as much fun as rowing and much less hard work, this car racing game for the PC nevertheless requires astonishing levels of practice to become even vaguely competent and has seen the hallowed walls of the Captain's room enclosing no less than four complete (and networked) systems before now....
Believe it or not, it does actually get worse. (Or better, depending on your outlook.) We have a website. Here you will find various details of our achievements, including best lap times (mostly poor) and results of a couple of complete seasons of multiplayer racing completed to date.

Furthermore, the atmosphere of a good GPL session is hard for an uninitiate to tell from a silent picture - what is needed is a decent sound clip (complete with at least one spin, argument and, ofcourse, a Ferarri)...
Some guy called Jimmi Bo has made a superb MPG movie from GPL footage which shows off GPL's ability, through its accurate physics engine, to model stunning accidents and crashes... there is a local copy, here (37.3MB).
